Lesley MacAulay is an award winning landscape designer with a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. She is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Her firm MACAULAY Landscape Design + Planning specializes in residential and public landscapes in the New York City and Toronto areas. Recent recognition includes HGTV Ultimate Outdoor Awards.
Ms. MacAulay has worked for the New York City Housing Authority, the New York City Parks Department and employed by Sotheby’s in their New York City Sculpture Department.
Active in her community, she was a member of the Darien Revitalization Initiative where she earned the Connecticut Volunteer of the Year Award and also received the State of Connecticut Main Street Volunteer of the Year Award. To date, she has sat as a Tree Commissioner and Beautification Commissioner and is currently on the Architectural Review Board for the Town of Darien, Connecticut. She also sits on the Architecture Review Committee and Grounds Committee for the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida. In spare time, she volunteers at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Published widely, she writes articles on art, architecture and design for feature on the Internet, magazine and newspaper platforms. Lesley also holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Environmental Design.
